A 90-day HTET preparation plan that actually works

Read articleThree months is enough to clear HTET comfortably, provided the time is used with a plan. Most candidates who fall short do not lack ability; they spend too long on reading and too little on testing. This plan fixes that balance.
Start with Child Development and Pedagogy, because it carries the same weight at every level and rewards understanding over memory. Read one theory a day, Piaget, Vygotsky, Kohlberg and the rest, and write five lines in your own words about how it applies in a real classroom.
Now the balance shifts. Every study session should end with questions. Take sectional tests of 30 questions and review every wrong answer the same day. Keep an error notebook: the question, why you got it wrong, and the correct idea in one line.
Your error notebook is the most valuable book you will own before the exam. Read it every Sunday.
Take two full-length mock tests a week under exam conditions: 150 minutes, no phone, one sitting. Use the days between tests to revise only the topics where you lost marks.
Abhyaskul runs HTET batches for all three levels with notes, video lectures and a test series. Send us an enquiry to know the next start date.
